We are the Schlafmann family. We met while serving in the Peace Corps in the Kingdom of Tonga and since then have enjoyed living in a variety of places — NYC, Palau, Shanghai, Vermont, Guatemala, Idaho and South Dakota. We’ve had jobs in investment banks, schools, ski resorts, forests and as off-the-grid property caretakers. We have been dreaming about a life where we can split time between living overseas and living closer to family.
In living overseas, our primary hope is to support missionaries and organizations that are already in place. Whatever that looks like. Whether it be to provide childcare for date nights, being personal shoppers, lending our hands with work or just living alongside in community. We pray that we will have eyes to see who God places in our path as we go through our day.
